## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this printer have a rear document feeder for envelopes as previous versions have?**
A: Hi M. D. Heidenreich, The WorkForce Pro WF-4740 does not have rear paper feed slot. This printer, however, does support printing on envelopes. You can load up to 10 envelopes on the paper cassette tray. Hope this helps! -The Epson Team

**Q: Can the 4740 act as a standalone copier? That is, can it make copies without being connected to anything but power?**
A: Yes it can, and relatively quick copies for an all-in-one, but it's a better printer than a copier---meaning I wouldn't want to rely on it for copies if I was doing a LOT of copying. But if I need 10-15 pages copied I won't hesitate to pop them in there, it will copy them in just a couple or three minutes.

**Q: Does come with printer cartridges?**
A: Hi N. Miller,

Yes. The WorkForce Pro WF-4740 includes 4x DURABrite Ultra Ink cartridges (1 black ink cartridge and 3 color ink cartridges: 1 Cyan, 1 Magenta, 1 Yellow) on the package. Hope this answers your inquiry!

- The Epson Team

**Q: I own this printer and have a question. Will it print in black if a color cartridge is empty. How do you set it to do that? I can't get mine to work.**
A: I’m not sure if it will print black if the cartridge is completely empty but it will tell you that you are low on blank ink and ask if you would like to print using other colors to make it blackish. You don’t have to set it up, it does that automatically
