Question 1

Hello. on my bottle it shows that two tablets equal to 2700ug vitamin a which is 300% rda, but here on amazon it’s shows 900ug. why is there a differ?

Thank you for your question. It sounds to me like you have received one of our US-labelled products on this occasion. I do apologise for any confusion caused by this.  Whilst the contents of the product are exactly the same, the labelling requirements in the USA are slightly different to those in the UK & EU as are the way in which some of the nutrient values are reported. As per this example, you will see that the unit of measurement shown on the label to describe the retinol equivalent is RAE (retinol activity equivalent), whereas in the UK it is simply referred to as RE (retinol equivalent). RAE is 3 x RE. Therefore, the USA label on the Advanced Multivitamin & Minerals for Men that you have received shows 2700 mcg RAE and the UK/EU label shows 900 mcg RE - from the same formula and input.

Allow me to assure you further that the form of vitamin A we use in our Advanced Multivitamin & Minerals for Men is beta carotene, which is considered the 'safe' supplemental form of vitamin A.

Thank you for your question. It looks as though you have received one of our US-labelled products and we hope that our previous reply has helped to address any concerns you have in this regard. As mentioned, whilst the contents of the product are the same, the labelling requirements in the USA are slightly different to those in the UK & EU as are the way in which some of the nutrient values are reported. For example, we use 5.4mg beta carotene as a safe alternative to preformed vitamin A (retinol). 
The conversion used to express beta carotene as ‘retinol equivalents’  differ between the UK/EU and the USA. As such 5.4mg beta carotene is expressed as 900mcg RE for the UK and 2700mcg RAE for the USA). 
 Similarly, the USA requires us to express 400mcg folic acid (we use L-methylfolate) as 667mcg DFE (dietary folate equivalents).

Therefore, the values may appear differently on a US-labelled product, despite having the same formula and output. I apologise for any confusion caused.

Does this not have magnesium in?

Thank you for your question. Pure & Essential Advanced Multivitamin & Minerals for Men does not contain magnesium because it is a rather large and bulky nutrient and the dose required for an effective supplement would simply make the tablet size impossibly large.

Our ethos at Igennus Healthcare Nutrition focuses on delivering effective doses of nutrients; we don’t add small amounts of nutrients to boost label claims. Whilst many companies do include magnesium in their multivitamin and mineral, it is mostly in poorly absorbed forms.  Different forms of magnesium offer different amounts of elemental magnesium (the fraction that is actually magnesium).  For example, magnesium oxide contains around 60% elemental magnesium, but this form has very low bioavailability and the majority passes through the body unabsorbed.  You will find this form in many standard multivitamin and mineral supplements as it is a cheap ingredient and can give the appearance that a product is delivering a good amount of magnesium. In contrast, the glutamate or citrate forms of magnesium are highly bioavailable, but are lower in elemental magnesium content at around 16%; at this low concentration, the volume required is therefore much higher, which is why people seeking magnesium benefits are often advised to purchase it as a single nutrient supplement. Around 668mg of magnesium glycinate would, for example, deliver 120mg magnesium (32% NRV) and, unlike magnesium oxide, the majority of this would be absorbed and utilised by the body (and therefore offer health benefits).
