Review: Works as advertised. Would def'n buy again. - It worked for me. I have a 16 year old portable hot tub that I recently had to push back on to it's side to replace the drain fitting at the bottom and it sat empty on it's side for probably 8 months. I had taken all the skirts off to do that work, and when I went to refill it discovered it was now losing water. It was losing water from the hose connections, the gasket that goes in the middle of the jet, and the gasket that seals against the surface of the hot tub shell. It was not a huge amount of water but an overwhelming project to take on, so I gave this a try and super happy that I did. You can see in the before an after photos, the product forms a kind of plastic seal where the water comes out, that eventually hardens and keeps any more water from coming out. I did feel like the tub was still leaking a little at day 4, and then we had 3 days of rain, and after that there were no more leaks.

**Q: Do you have to change the water after using? We're in CA and in a drought, so big issue. Thanks.**
A: I didn't change the water when I used it and had no problems. I have a metal frame pool that uses the paper (I think ) filters and you are instructed to take the filter out while leaving the pump running.

**Q: will this work on a 18x52 vinyl above ground pool**
A: Not too likely as is is flexible.Worked about 50% on my hot tub leak,! of 2 places.

**Q: I have a small leak in my above ground pool that holds 4,600 gallons of water how much fix a leak will I need**
A: Irene , i would use the whole bottle in ur above ground..it worked on my hot tub  but that was only 600 gallons and i used half a bottle, still no leaks, great stuff this

**Q: Is it safe to use in pools with gas pool heater ( no bypass )?**
A: Have no knowledge as my application was in a small hot tub. It DID stop the leak but required 2 small bottles. If trying it buy large bottle.

It worked for me. I'm not sure how this stuff really works, but it worked for my situation. I had just had a spa service visit which cost me $180 for a leak and unworking pump for one of my seats. All they did was confirm I had a leak and stated the pump has stopped working (nothing I didn't already know). They suggested I buy a new hot tub since mine was 15 years old. I like my tub a lot, so didn't want to give up on it yet. Instead, I googled sealants which work underwater and was planning on draining tub and applying gunk around all my jets and light fixtures. Instead I found a YouTube video where a guy demonstrated using this stuff. I was doubtful, but decided it would be cheaper and easier then doing what I had planned. Well, I'm no longer a doubter. I tried this stuff and not only did it fix my leak, it also got my pump working again!! Not sure how long it will last, but it definitely did the trick for now.
