One of my favourite board games! The Japanese folklore theme is interesting and everything is beautifully illustrated, from the board to all the components. Overall quality is very high and the game is very fun. But do be aware Bitoku is a complex game that comes with a large rulebook. It will take at least 2-3 hours to play and requires a commitment to learn and then to teach the game. You and your fellow gamers will need patience! If you want a casual game that is quick to learn and play, look elsewhere.

Might seem overwhelming at first sight, but although this game has many mechanics, they are quite simple. The layout and quality is top notch!
