I wanted to make sure i looked after my controller and have a place for storing the usb cable and a spare battery, so with the rigid form, some void space and a pocket in the main lid, this fit the bill nicely. A strong zipper fastening keeps the case closed when not in use and also plenty of dust out. Whilst i'm not a fan of the contour on the edge opposite of the handle, the form factor fits the 8bitdo snugly, and i am confident the controller would be safe if it were to be in transit with me to other places. For other controllers running on AA batteries for example, the top pocket would be an excellent play to stow batteries along with other accessories such as bluetooth or wireless receivers. This would be a good slot to keep any instruction leaflets as well. Only downside for me is I have lifters on my sticks and the netting inside that holds the cable presses on them.
