You can adjust the tempo to a "slow jam" all the way up to a high energy break beat. There is a scratch wheel that also has 5 different scratch settings. The toy also lets you record your tracks to play back later. There's also an "academy" feature setting which is basically a Simon Says game designed to help you learn different beat layering techniques.
