power consuption digital versis regular ballast , how much difference????? Rodhound

You use alot less power.I have a 1000, 600, 400 and my bill went up only 50$ a month versis old school ballast it would b 150$ more a month

Nope, it will interfere with Cable lines within 40ft of it. At least it did for me. If RFI is a concern get a shielded unit, not this one.

Is the cord that comes with this ballast a 240 volt? If not do you sell the 240 Volt cord?

I want 10 Balast So no you can’t use 240 V

i have the ipower 400 watt converatble reflector and bulb socket, will the 1000 watt ballast easily convert to the 400 set up for an easy conversion

if it's digital it should automatically recognize the type of bulb it is trying to power and adjust itself accordingly so you shouldn't have to do anything. However, I don't trust iPower, so there could be issues. I suggest you try to contact iPower to see if they can answer your question better than me before you attach a 1000w ballast to your 400 watt socket. You don't want to overpower and short circuit your equipment.
