We have a small laundry room with about 6 inches space between the ceiling and top of the cabinets. This fit perfect and extends with the perfect pivot points. I would not recommend extending straight out and hanging wet clothes. That seems a bit much for this to hold. It does sag a little bit when loaded up with a bunch of shirts, but that appears to be by design. I was skeptical at first but pleased so far. My wife appreciates that it folds back out of the way when not in use. (I didn't tell her that's exactly why I bought it.)

Summary: the ZdwCyl Clothes Drying Rack come pre-assembled but requires some tools for installation level, drill bits, drill driver, hammer, screw driver). It performs the task intended. The frame is of sturdy construction. The rack has hooks for 18 items and easily holds more than a dozen pieces of clothing on hangers without problems. There is a little bit of sag to the joints such that the rack is not perfectly horizontal when fully extended that is visible with/without a weight on the rack. Hopefully, this will not lead to durability issues in the future. The beauty caps covering the screws holding the rack to the wall are too loose such that they had to be glued in or they would fall off immediately Pros: - Frame is of sturdy construction. - Installation instructions are clear and understandable. - Installation hardware included in kit. - Unit operates easily and has a low profile when closed. - Unit comes with a "Glue-On" Bracket and Adhesive included in kit. Cons: - Beauty Caps to cover screws fall off instead of staying with friction fit. Had to use a rubber cement type of adhesive to attach beauty caps. - Bracket sags at joints such that it is not perfectly horizontal when fully extended. This is irrespective of a load being put on the Bracket. The joints seem tight now but may loosen further in the future with use. When going through a laundry room remodel we wanted to install some space saving features. Among them was a clothes hanging bracket that folded against the wall when not in use and extended when needed. This ZdwCyl Clothes Drying Rack looked to be perfect for our needs. Installation of the rack was straight forward. Hold the bracket base against the wall in the location desired using a level to get the bracket straight. Mark where the screws are to go. Drill pilot holes in the locations indicated. Try to use a location where there was a wall stud to more effectively hold the ZdwCyl Bracket. Drill appropriately sized holes where wall anchors are needed then put in wall anchors. Attach ZdwCyl bracket with the included screws. Put beauty caps over screws on bracket base. Installation was quick and easy except for the minor irritation that the Beauty Caps covering the screws kept falling off until I used some rubber cement type adhesive to attach the Beauty Caps to the screws (Caps will come off fairly easily in case repair is needed). Aside from the hassle of finding the adhesive and gluing on the Beauty Caps, the total installation time was less than half an hour. Most of the time was in set-up and clean-up from drilling holes in the sheetrock. In conclusion, we really like this ZdwCyl Clothes Drying Rack. Except for a couple minor issues the rack is great and performs its function exactly as intended. I recommend this rack. Note: The ZdwCyl Clothes Drying Rack comes with an optional attachment to allow the rack to be attached to the wall using an included adhesive. Unless the wall is of stone, concrete, metal, or other structurally cohesive and strong material, I highly do NOT recommend you use the method of attachment. While the adhesive can be very strong, any load on the rack when extended would have a tendency to tear the paper facing when installed on a sheetrock wall. The rack would just rip off the sheetrock and damage the wall. Screws are needed to anchor the ZdwCyl Clothes Drying Rack securely to a sheetrock wall.

Purchased this to put in our master bathroom in an area that allows clothing to hang. This product is great and helpful. The ability to pull it out and put it away wi the out issue or taking up space elsewhere in the house is great. It can hold a great deal of clothing to air dry. Would by again! Takes up limited space.

Nice, compact, easy to install

If you have clothes you do not want to dry and NO place to hang them, Then this is what you need. This was me to a tea! My son-in-law hung this VERY NEAT item on a door facing in my utility room. Might I add, very small utility room! You can adjust space between clothes and the bars extend out and you can hang on all hooks or more space between each item. It is perfect for me and it takes up no floor space at all.

YEAR UPDATE: 2/2026 good as it ever was, I hang a LOOOT of heavy clothes on this thing multiple times a week to dry and with the hook / string technique to carry the load.. it just works flawlessly still. Highly recommended the hook at the end to help ORIGINAL REVIEW: 1/2025 Product seems very well made… It provides adhesive to put on the wall or other surface that you might be mounting it to, but I couldn’t even imagine that working very well with as much as wet clothes weigh I located a stud and put three of the screws into the middle of the stud and then used anchors for the other three as a redundant safeguard, and that thing’s not going anywhere Fully extended straight there is a little wobble to it so I would put your heavy items closest to the wall with your lighter items and empty hangers at the very end… Although you can run it back-and-forth to get a little stability but then the clothes clump together A solution that I have come up with is a simple hook, screwed into the ceiling, either into a stud or into a heavy duty anchor, and you simply have a nylon string that you attached to the end of this unit and hook it onto the hook in the ceiling to provide a transfer of the weight from the tip of the wall unit into the ceiling, so there will be no bend or potential breaking… If you often want to dry large amounts of clothing on it I have also found that it’s easier to just put the hangers over the top of the bars instead of using the provided hooks that slide back-and-forth although those do work fine but there’s not very many of them and they are more difficult to put on and take off than simply hanging over the top

Love it. Works great. Holds a lot of weight. I anchored it to the wall and it has no problems. Folds up nicely. Dries clothes over night while I sleep.

Have this mounted in the laundry room, sturdy built, but really does need to mount to a stud or header as when you calculate the arm of force of a piece of laundry at the end of 4 feet, you more than likely will have too much weight for 6 screw plugs in a 1/2" piece of drywall. It will pull these out of the wall or break the drywall. The horizontally spaced screw holes are just too far apart to fit 1.5" wide studs, so either use the centre of the stud to mount 3 of the 6 vertical screws, and use the supplied plugs for the other 3 vertical, or find a double stud or header to screw into. So aside from your DIY abilities, it's great value for the price!

It is installed and has already been put to great use. It is not made from cheap plastic that will break right away. It tucks away nicely against the wall. In my case it fits around a corner and is such a space saver. Worth the money.
