I don’t want any colors that say they’re blue & be blue black or red that is burgundy/brown.** A: The set I bought is a “vintage” color set. So the red is a burgundy. One of the greens is kind of a sage color, another is olive. The purple shade is more of a “mauve.” They are GORGEOUS colors (IMO), but if you are going for “true” colors, this isn’t likely the set you’re looking for. **Q: Is the ink waterproof?** A: I used a few pens to make marks on white copy paper and the did not smear at all when I put several drops of water on the paper. I bought several different coloring pens to carry with me to places where I will probably have to wait my turn.
