CalMag Plus - Original (Unflavored)

This has been a wonderful healthy replacement to a glass of wine at night! Wine would initially relax me and then leave me tossing and turning and hot at night. This stuff helps relax me in the evening. I drink it in a coconut LaCroix on ice and it's delicious!

This stuff is great! I have been taking Calm for several years and recently came across CalMag Plus. After trying it for a few weeks I can confidently say that this is better than Calm. It has calcium, magnesium, vitamin C as well as D. I love that it gives extra vitamins including C & D. Calm doesn't have that. It also takes great. This combination is perfect for me. I workout several days a week and need my muscles to relax and recover quickly. I take this each day after my exercise and it allows my muscles to relax naturally. When they can relax they can then recover. It also helps me sleep at night without using any artificial sleep aid. It takes away any stiffness in my joints and just overall provides relaxation. I am really glad that I found this product and intend to continue to use it. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great natural stress reliever, muscle relaxer or overall great calcium magnesium supplement. Oh and a bonus... The company actually cares. They sent a followup email to make sure I received it and gave recipes too. That's really hard to find. I'm happy to be a customer :)

Easy to use. Helps prevent cramps! Need the extra calcium and magnesium, especially in these heat waves here in So. Cal.

I finally decided to try this calcium/magnesium product based on the reviews, and I'm not disappointed. I can't say the product has changed my life, but I noticed an improvement in an overall reduction of aches and pains after the first week of use. I also seem to have a little more energy to get things done when I get going. I take this product at night along with a dose each of vitamins C and D. I take my other vitamins in the morning. I only add enough boiling water to dissolve the powder, and then I add a little cold water to cool it off. I just swallow it in a gulp or two, and I don't find the taste particularly unpleasant. It has a bit of a citrus taste. I started out using only one teaspoon to avoid GI upset, and have been increasing to two teaspoons gradually. I only experienced mild GI upset over the first week. Since then, it's kept me regular with no problems. I would recommend this product and I will buy it again.

According to Amazon we have purchased this product 37 times. I guess that tells it all. We will continue ordering the unflavored CalMag. We tried the Berry flavor on our last order and was completely disappointed with it. I think they add Kool Aid to give it the flavor, but anyway, it was not good. We do add just a little Cran-grape juice to the drink and that makes it taste great. This is just our opinion on this product.

I thought this would be a great addition to my morning coffee. I currently use a collagen flavorless powder and am wanting to supplement with some calcium magnesium for my degenerating disk situation. Since I'm far more likely to take it as a powder I mixed into my coffee, as I do my collagen every morning, I thought "Wow this stuff will be perfect! It's an unflavored powder!" Let me tell you how wrong I was. As I prepared my cup of morning Joe, I went through my usual steps. Get coffee brewing, pull down collagen powder and add it to the bit of sugar and hazelnut powder creamer as I do every morning. But this day I was adding in a new powder to the mix! An unflavored calcium magnesium with D3 powder. I added a scoop and then poured my coffee over it, added my half and half and I was ready to start my day. Pretty immediately I noticed some bubbling.....I stirred it while shrugging off my first red flag of the morning. I took my first sip of my morning salvation, only to be VERY unpleasantly surprised by what I could only think at the time, was my half and half had gone sour! The taste was kinda sour and pungent. My eyes widened in surprise and my face grimaced in the unexpected disgust I was tasting. I quickly grab my half and half and do a smell test. Hrmm smells fine. I then turn my attention towards the open container of this powdered calcium magnesium powder. I look over the label and see the "Unflavored" claim and roll my eyes in disbelief. I lick the tip of my finger and delicately tap the top of the powder. I slowly bring the powder dipped finger to my palate and taste. My eyes squeeze shut it sour disgust and I knew immediately what the coffee saboteur was. While I love the idea of an unflavored powdered form of a vitamin, this was a fail. I will be returning, because I will in no way be able to suffer through drinking this in any capacity. I did note on upon reading the back label, it mentioned you could mix with water or juice to "enhance" as they put it, the flavor of the unflavored powder. Unfortunately, after this mishap and the fact that I only drink one cup of coffee and no juice in the morning. Paired with the complete new found distain for the flavor of the "unflavored" powder, I will be returning this product. This is just my experience. I gave three stars because it was packaged well, and the idea is great. But when stating something is "unflavored", one is led to assume that there isn't a strong flavor of anything. Like the unflavored collagen powder I use. This was however, not the case in this situation. I hope this review helps someone from making the same unfortunate mistake I did on that dreadful morning. **Update** Turns out you can't return this item. So I'm out about 25$. This is very disappointing. Please don't order if you are hoping for anything close to it not having flavor. It is not flavorless!!!

My husband and I take this daily and diligently (which is not my style, but it's that worth it). I have told countless others about it as well. We have seen immediate results and others I have introduced to it have too. It is well absorbed magnesium by all! If you want to sleep better (I used to wake up and not be able to fall back asleep), have easier and more regular bowel movements and improve your mood, take this! I sought it out because there are very few options that aren't horse pills or filled with artificial flavors. I keep purchasing because it works. The vitamins C and D3 are perks. Pour a small amount of boiling water on the powder to activate it, mix until clear, add a bit of cold water, then drink. The taste is mild if you drink immediately (the longer it sits the more bitter the taste). The company also sent us a Christmas gift complete with hand written thank you card (pictured). Very sweet. This prompted me to finally rave about this stuff on Amazon, instead of just to my friends. Thank you and well played Whole Family Naturals! Don't stop making this good stuff.

I have used it for a year. The product is far superior to any calcium on the market. It is easy to drink in warm water dissolving well no taste issues. For those with osteoporosis and a need for more calcium, magnesium it absorbs and does the job better then any calcium pill. even includes C and D . It has eliminated completely leg cramps and helps me fall sleep. It boosted my calcium levels to excellence. This is a product I most highly recommend. My health has greatly improved taking this wonderful product. Amazon is faulty shipping it in filmsly bags so it arrives damaged. My recommendation is buy it with enough to fill a box for better shipping quality. Quite A exceptional product .
