Not only is the bond that it creates sturdy, you won't need to pile it on either. For each lego piece only require a extremely small amount to bond. With that said, this product can last you a good couple of years depending on how many lego sets you bond, if you constantly create and break down pieces and how generous you apply the bond. I use a very thin small application brush and just cover the top of each piece being applied. Pleas e note that I build with my son and teach him to use sparingly. I feel if I had left it solely to his preferred way the glue would be gone in half the time. Hope this helps. **Q: When you're ready to take a gluesd set apart, how does the adhesive come off?
