**Q: Are these cruelty-free?**
A: from the company's web site:  Are Crystal natural deodorant products tested on animals?No. Crystal Body Deodorant and Crystal essence products have never been and never will be tested on animals. We are proud members of both Leaping Bunny and PETA.

**Q: Can you use on areas other than underarms?**
A: That's a very good question!  I would not use it under the tongue :)   All joking aside, check the crystal web page:
Can I use Crystal on other parts of my body?
Since Crystal hypoallergenic deodorants are made of mineral salts, they are safe to use just about anywhere on the body. In addition to using underarm, many of our customers apply to their chests, feet and inner thighs. Be sure to avoid applying to open wounds. Should a rash appear, stop using immediately and contact your doctor.

Check postings like this one (google it): six-places-i-slather-deodorant-not-including-my-armpits      Some people wear it behind the knees, on the feet, on the nose, the thighs.  Avoid open wounds!  Happy rolling!

**Q: Would this scent work for a guy or is it more for women?**
A: You can buy the "unscented" version or the "scented" version.

For a guy the "unscented" version would be ideal. 

Personally, I no longer want to use scented deodorants and I don't even buy cologne anymore. Why? Because, one day, a guy walked into the room wreaking of cologne that smelled bad. It was only after I thought about it a minute that I realized it wasn't coming from him, it was what he was wearing. I don't know what kind of cologne it was. Yes, if you happen to like the particular scent that someone is wearing, great! If you don't, you're going to be miserable, if you're stuck in a room with them (doctor's office, small party, etc). 

Also, I think that motels should try and find (if there are any) "unscented" cleaners for their rooms. I don't know why the smell of cleaner lingers all day and night but it does. There were two different motels that I had to spend 2 days in that smelled bad to me, not funky, I didn't like the scent in their rooms.  At a future date, I paid a little more for another motel and the cleaner that they used smelled wonderful. If they had "all" used unscented cleaner, I would have enjoyed my stay at all of them.

**Q: contain baking soda?**
A: It does have sodium bicarbonate in it which is the active ingredient in baking soda.

Love that it’s fragrance-free and doesn't leave any stains on my clothes. It works well, but it only lasts about half a day, but I don't mind reapplying. Also brought it through TSA with no issues.
