Review: Excellent non-stick longevity, even after nearly 3 years of daily cooking! - I have been using this T-fal 2-piece frying pan set daily since 2023, and they have exceeded my expectations for budget cookware. As you can see in my photos, the bottom exterior of the pan has definitely developed some severe heat stains and discoloration from my gas stove over the years. However, the interior non-stick coating is still in fantastic shape! Food still slides off easily, and the thermo-spot indicator in the center still works perfectly. Many cheap non-stick pans lose their coating within 6 months, but T-fal proves its durability here. They are lightweight, easy to clean, and oven-safe up to 350F. If you want affordable pans that actually last for years without losing their non-stick capability, this set is a no-brainer.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: I saw one of the answered questions about how non stick spray like PAM would ruin cookware. I have never heard of this. Why would that ruin a pan?**
A: Nonstick sprays contain a mixture of what basically amounts to oil and water, which do not mix. In order to suspend these items within the container, products like PAM use an emulsifying agent like lecithin. The lecithin is what reacts with the nonstick surface and it does ruin it after a time. I get around this by putting olive oil in a spray bottle. Hope this helps!

**Q: Says the pans are dishwasher safe but then you say warranty exculdes dishwasher damage.  Why?  So are they not really dishwasher safe?**
A: Scratched after second use in the dishwasher

**Q: How often can you wash these in the dish washer without ruining them?**
A: These are not the original authentic Tfal products these are a counterfeit product from China. Please use caution ⚠️ in purchasing as the results have caused injuries!

Don't purchase these thinking they are like the ones from the original Tfal company.  Tfal products are sturdy and are not able to bend and warp like this counterfeit product.  The glass lids would not be shattering if this was authentic Tfal. 

Authentic Tfal products are wonderful and long lasting. The coating doesn't peel, the glass doesn't explode. Please be careful!

**Q: What’s the difference between ceramic nonstick and nonstick?**
A: Ceramic is environmentally friendly and nonstick or Teflon has longevity.  They both do the same thing.

I have been using this T-fal 2-piece frying pan set daily since 2023, and they have exceeded my expectations for budget cookware. Keep in mind, I've only just received this cookware, but this is my opinion so far. Every piece is sturdy, perfectly made, not a mark on any one pot/pan. The finish is very nice - I bought the red/orange color since it was about $50 less and the actual color even nicer than the photos. Everything is non-stick, so as long as no one uses anything metal on the cookware, everything should last for a long time. I saw review issues with loose handles; all of my handles are very tight and perfectly aligned. I love that every pot lid has a steam vent. I used the square flat pan and as long as cold water is not applied to the hot pan, it shouldn't warp and it didn't. Love that every pot has a measurement bar on the inside. Frankly, I am impressed so far and we're glad we purchased the set.
