Kava Supreme

Listen, I’m naturally a skeptic for any anxiolytics available for purchase. I’ve tried everything - valerian, lemon balm, ashwaghanda, etc... I just concocted a 6 tablespoon Kava drink with a splash of milk in the blender for 4 minutes on high and I feel a noticeable reduction in anxiety and negative thinking. If this is a placebo it’s a damn good one. I have a heady feeling of intoxication of which I would equate to a low dose benzo (was prescribed Ativan and Valium at different periods of my life). I even have a little bit left as you can see. Everyone’s different, I know that, but give this a shot if you’ve gotten nothing else left to try.

Kava products in general are not cheap, whether it be for the powder, tincture, gummies, etc. So concerning the price, I did find it decent for a high quality kava product. Keep in mind, however, the powder does require a shaker bottle or cloth to steep it. A good shaker bottle cost me about $30, but made the process much more efficient. As long as you follow the instructions, you can get the desired effect. I did find the taste wasn’t great as I don’t favor earthy flavors, but I found it a minor inconvenience in conjunction to the relaxation effects. I definitely would recommend, but I’d also suggest people check its compatibility with any other medications or supplements they’re taking.

Good leave for the money. I have had better but for the money it was a good buy. Mixed up well and the flavor was good

I made three glasses on different days and had absolutely none of the listed effects from consuming. Just a mild headache. Super bummed out because it was $50 for the bag and another $20 for the recommended tumbler and strainer. It’s all just a big waste and of course they don’t accept any returns.

So here’s the deal—when you’ve got a mind like mine (ADHD, deep thinker, can’t turn it off even at 3 a.m.), you start to seriously value anything that helps you shift gears without nuking your central nervous system. That’s where Kava Supreme steps in—and let me tell you, this ain’t your gas station kava-in-a-capsule nonsense. This is real, noble Vanuatu root, and from the first shell, you know you’re dealing with something authentic. The grind is consistent—fine, but not powdery. Earthy smell? Yep. Bitterness? You bet. That’s how you know it’s legit. I prepped it the traditional way—strainer bag, warm (not hot) water, good ol’ kneading for a few solid minutes while zoning out with some roots reggae in the background. The result? Creamy, peppery, and deeply grounding. The kavain kick hits gently, first in the tongue (classic numbing effect), then it just… slows everything down. Not in a sedated way—more like your body exhales before your brain does. Where It Shines: Top-tier potency without that muddy, head-spinning crash Smooth, mellow effects perfect for unwinding, meditation, journaling, or quiet convo Sourced ethically—Kavafied is a name I trust in the kava space Actually tastes like kava, not flavored filler pretending to be herbal What Could Be Better: Not beginner-level. If you’re new to kava, this will hit hard. Go easy on the first shell. Storage pouch is basic—would love a resealable tin or jar for that premium touch. Still wish there was a version that came pre-bagged for on-the-go prep (but hey, ritual’s part of the magic)

I have had better but there shaker and ball really help if new to kava. Kava will help as an alternative to many times for me it was the occasional beer during the week. I replaced the beer with kava and I sleep better, I feel better and I can still have that relaxing feeling when resting before bed.

I've been taking kava for a long time now, and about a year ago i decided to start ordering from amazon, for convenience sake. This is one company I hadn't tried yet, so i decided to give it a shot, and i wasn't disappointed. I opened up my package and saw the kava was a nice, fine grind, so i was pleased. The aroma left something to be desired, but this is to be expected with kava (as we all know). I made my first shell and drank it quick... I must say, the taste is worse than just about any kava, but in a mild way? Its strange, it tastes normal except something is inherently off. But since this doesn't affect the quality in any way, it didn't affect the rating. I would recommend adding honey to your grog, or bringing along a strong chaser. All in all the effects were great and balanced, maybe even a bit heavy, but overall a great kava. For anyone looking to try kava, or even someone whos been taking kava for a long time this is for you!

I started Kava in hopes of having a natural substance to help me taper down on Kratom. Both Kratom and Kava are anxiolytic, which is a help for me as I deal with generalized anxiety and depression. Although Kratom is longer-lasting and maybe more profound in some ways, Kava doesn’t create a bodily dependence over time. The first time I tried Kava, I followed the recommended serving size (usually 2-4 tbsp). I was disappointed when, after 30 minutes (and an empty stomach - important) I didn’t feel anything. I tried several Kavas from Bula Kava House, Gourmet Hawaiian Kava, and others, to no avail. It wasn’t until I kneaded 40 grams that I felt the effects. (I’m apparently what they call a “hardhead”.) It came at a time when I was just about to give up. I overlooked Kavafied’s Kava Supreme because I pictured some low-quality root powder sitting on a shelf for months, waiting to be fulfilled by Amazon. But... I’m GLAD I gave it a try! I was pleasantly surprised that my first dose, at 20 grams, gave very pleasant calming effects. At 30 grams, I can just about drift off into a peaceful sleep. As a bonus, this stuff seems easier to drink. Pretty much all Kavas taste terrible, but when I started chugging this and didn’t have to fight gag reflex, I almost thought I didn’t prepare it correctly. I was wrong. It hit me in a good way! I add the powder (16 to 30 grams, depending on if I’m doing a day or night dose) to 1.5 to 2 cups of warm water with some type of milk (almond, coconut) to help give the kavalactones something to bind to. I pour all this into a blender and let it go for a couple minutes. This is then poured into a strainer bag and kneaded for 10 minutes. Then my “session” begins: I add two cubes of ice to a cup and pour it about halfway with the Kava juice/milk. With some pineapple slices ready, I chug that cup, then immediately pop a pineapple into my mouth. A juicy fruit that quickly saturates your taste buds is the way to fly. After a few minutes, I repeat this a few more times until the batch is used up. I generally start feeling the effects come on within minutes. Very relaxing!
