Ah-mazing!!! If you’ve never tried The Mane Choice, then this is a game changer. It melts in your hand like coconut oil, but softens hair so much more. It’s my go to when my hair is dry! I usually use it every few night as a part of a braid routine. I use this product, along with water, and a good moisturizer to seal my hair. There is no need for a lot of it, a little goes a long way! I use to have to moisturize everyday or use products that were incredibly thick that would ruin a hairstyle. This product doesn’t do this and doesn’t revert your hair back to a curly state, so you can use it whether you’ve just straightened your hair or when you’re going au naturale. Nowadays I only really use this along with two other products (leave-in and cream moisturizer). I will be honest and say it is grittier than when I’ve bought it in the store. Feels like it wasn’t mixed well enough before being put in the jar. Maybe a slightly bad batch is sold through amazon? It still works great though and seems like the same product. Long review, but I really do love this product! It’s become a staple product that I have to have at all times!

I've used Mane Choice products for over a decade, including this one, and I'm glad I can now get it for a better cost and never have to worry about it being out of stock. It moisturizes my scalp well, great shine, and promotes ongoing hair health and growth for me.

Was skeptical about spending this much on one hair product (as usual for me lol) but i love it. Smells great. And you don't even have to use much it goes a long way so I'm all for the process now lol. Soft and buttery highly recommended.

OMG, this stuff is amazing!!! It leaves my hair so soft and manageable and it moisturizes,as well I would recommend this if no one has tried this I think you should really give it a try I love it and I will continue using this this is now part of my hair regiment thank you guys so much

August 14: it has been a month since my initial review and I am very pleased to say this is a wonderful product. I was losing my hair in spots, there were areas that just would not grow and it look and felt like fake doll hair. My hair is relaxed and it looks wondeful now, fuller, thicker and so soft and shiny. It has worked miracles for me so i highly recommend it. I can't give a review yet because I just ordered it the suggestion of my beautician but note that most of the reviews were posted on September 22, 2014 which usually indicates manufacturer paid reviews. Most reviews are posted in April, June, September and use similar verbiage so keep that in mind. I will post results in 30 days. Amazon needs to do something about these fake testimonials.

Gritty, Have bought it locally for a long time but it was never gritty. Kept it anyway because I have not been able to find it.

I Love This Product! It Gives My Natural Hair A Beautiful Shine And Straightens It Too. I've Been Using It For A Couple Of Weeks....To Early To See Growth. I do recommend That You Use It Sparingly Because A Little Goes A Long Way. My Hair is Shoulder Length Also Warm It Up By Rubbing A Small Amount In The Palm Of Your Hands..It WIll Spread Much Easier If It Is Slightly Melted (Just Like "Butter" Hence The Name) . It Comes In A Large Jar Which Is Filled To The Top Not Half Empty Like Other Products. Well Worth The Price..Go For It!

I really love this butter - I had kind of mixed feelings about it, because it didn't feel as if it was doing anything to my hair while I was putting it on, but folks - it's the only mixture that gives me defined twists. and it feels so moisturized when you untwist your hair. I really realize too that a little bit of it goes a long way. I'm not saying it'll do the same for you, but it did it for me, after years of looking I've found what my hair likes. I've been using products that feel great on my hair and I thought that it was the product, but on taking down my hair, it just felt okay. NOT THIS PRODUCT - it feels okay, but the take down is when you realize how good the product is.
