I wouldn’t use it as a pencil case to carry to school but home would be fine for storage. I purchased it for hair accessories for granddaughter and feel it is quite small. Read the measurements. It’s all there. I keep a sewing measuring tape at my desk. When I order something that I may not feel is the correct size I need, I whip it out and measure. So do that. It helps. I love this size for my 4 year old. She is using it for her little girl play make up. It’s great for her. I may buy another, she can use it for hair bows when we travel. They won’t get smushed since it’s a hard case! It’s a great caboodle!
