Anyone have a fix for the handle issue?** A: two part epoxy. make sure the plastic is clean and dry, mix up the epoxy and reinsert the handle arm making sure to press all the way into the groove. **Q: I accidentally bought the micro tool. It has made seed starting in volume very easy, and very affordable with the use of far less seed starting mix.Perfect size blocks for seeds such as lettuce, cole crops, zinnias, marigolds, and especially petunias. Also great for tomatoes and peppers though they benefit from being potted up or planted out much earlier than crops with smaller seeds.This blocker is excellently made and will pay for itself in soil savings. I bought this tool because I liked the system concept of sprouting the seeds in these very small soil blocks then moving them to a larger soil block. I was totally surprised when I found that that this device cleanly released the very moist coconut coir (my medium of choice) that I had solidly, manually packed into the soil blocker. I was expecting it to leave a messy residue that I would have to clean out each time.Then, I dropped the seed into the divet at the top, didn't bother to try to bury the seed, and covered it with plastic wrap. My seeds started sprouting in just a few days.TIP: I found that I needed to put some sort of vertical brace under the plastic wrap so the seeds did not stick to the moisture on it each time I lifted it to take a peak.
