People complain about the controller but I actually prefer it. We’ve had the fancy digital ones fail. Very happy with these. Think the higher watt heater would have been better. We have a softside with a liner in a wooden frame on the floor. The bed has been in place almost 40 years but with several replacement heaters. We l-o-o-o-o-ve our waterbed. We figure when we’re too old (75 and 82) to roll in, we’ll know it’s time to move on.
