## Description

This clever compost bin has been carefully designed to help reduce the smell from collected food waste. It has a unique, ventilated design that allows air to enter and circulate inside the caddy, which helps to reduce moisture - the main cause of unpleasant odors from decomposing food. In addition, it features a replaceable odor filter in the lid that works in tandem with the fresh air to help trap any smells that do occur. It has an easy-clean polypropylene body, a flip-top lid and a sturdy stainless-steel carry handle. A liner-retaining hole inside ensures any liners stay in place and the rim of the removable lid hides any untidy bag overhang. Perfect for storing on a kitchen counter, it is also compatible with Stack Recycling Separation Units. Custom-fit, compostable liners (IW2) are available separately for the perfect fit. Wipe clean with a damp cloth and wash by hand with hot, soapy water.

Review: Litter scoop trash - I know this is a compost bin but I needed something a little bigger than a desk top trash can I know it's unconventional but I use it as a trash can when im scooping my cats litter box ( I don't like holding the doggie bags when im scooping) it's wide enough so I don't drop any litter or gross stuff on the floor and plenty of inches in space left all around where the litter scoop doesn't touch the sides I have a 5.2 inch litter scoop. It is small and compact enough that it doesn't take up a whole lot of room but deep enough to hold a good amout of litter or other things for what you will be using it for. The lid stays up perfectly im not sure about smell since im not using it as a compost bin but I do not leave the scooped litter in there I take it out after and replace the bag for the next scoop. So i cant say anything about keeping smells out but For me this little bin is amazing and perfect for what I was looking for and what i need. It feels very sturdy. Super easy to clean and give it a good wash. Not really any assembly needed just pop the lid on and off the part where you put the charcoal filter you squeeze and push out if anyone is having trouble with that but super easy once you get the hang of it. The bin was a bit pricey but personally for me and what I needed to use it for was well worth the price I have a attached a video I use the doggie bags jumbo size 15 x 20 inches and it fits perfect.

The lid is also easy to open one handed, which helps if you just have something small and don’t want to take it out of the fridge. It’s easy to clean and the light color makes it easy to see what needs cleaning. I LOVE THIS BIN! It is so thoughtfully designed and makes composting easy!

**Q: Is there any way for small insects to enter this bin? I live in Hawaii and the flies will get into this if there is an opening.**
A: I have used this bin in my freezer (rather than my countertop) for years to avoid fruit flies and smells. Works like a charm—highly recommend.

**Q: Can the carry handle be removed?**
A: Yes the handle can be removed.

**Q: Is it pretty east to clean if you don't use a liner?**
A: I have always used a liner, but I have washed it out just as I would any other dish or container with no problems.  It is easy to dry and start using right away after washing.

**Q: Are there replacement filters available?**
A: To those who answered yes, where do you get them?
I could not locate them here or on Wayfair or Walmart.

I know this is a compost bin but I needed something a little bigger than a desk top trash can I know it's unconventional but I use it as a trash can when im scooping my cats litter box ( I don't like holding the doggie bags when im scooping) it's wide enough so I don't drop any litter or gross stuff on the floor and plenty of inches in space left all around where the litter scoop doesn't touch the sides I have a 5.2 inch litter scoop. It is small and compact enough that it doesn't take up a whole lot of room but deep enough to hold a good amout of litter or other things for what you will be using it for. The lid stays up perfectly im not sure about smell since im not using it as a compost bin but I do not leave the scooped litter in there I take it out after and replace the bag for the next scoop. So i cant say anything about keeping smells out but For me this little bin is amazing and perfect for what I was looking for and what i need. It feels very sturdy.
