There is sufficient texture to ensure not only self-healing but also the stability of items placed on it, preventing them from sliding around and getting lost. (Original post) I recently purchased the yellow print on green mat, size 12x18. I’m pleased with the sturdiness of the mat, as advertised. It’s also more affordable than the store version, which is a bonus. I haven’t had a chance to test the self-healing feature yet, but I was initially concerned that the yellow print might be difficult to read. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the print is easy on the eyes and doesn’t distract from my project. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase and would recommend Headley Tools to anyone looking for a reliable and affordable mat. ## Frequently Bought Together - Headley Tools Thickened 24 x 36 Inch Self Healing Sewing Cutting Mat, A1 Rotary Cutting Sewing Mat for Crafts, Double Sided 5-Ply Table Cutting Board for Fabric Quilting Leather Hobby, Grey/Black - Fiskars 45mm Rotary Cutter for Fabric, Premium Steel Stick Fabric Cutter Cuts Through Multiple Layers, Right and Left Handed, Easy and Safe Blade Change, Arts and Crafts, Sewing and Quilting Tools - Otylzto Premium Plastic Clips, 100 Pcs with Box, Sewing Notions for Sewing Quilting Supplies Crafting Tools, Assorted Colors for Craft --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/377310844-headley-tools-thickened-24-x-36-inch-self-healing-sewing](https://www.desertcart.no/products/377310844-headley-tools-thickened-24-x-36-inch-self-healing-sewing) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-16*
