Are they for big army men

They are suitable for Lego men, hope that helps

Have the modern weapons been reworked to the same quality as the new medieval? Medieval ones bought in 2021 are awesome!

Unfortunately, I cannot help you with this question, because the items that I am seeing contained in this version of the set were not in mine. My set did not contain motorcycles, but instead contained dogs. Also, my weapons were more, 1940's-1960's, military styled. These are much more, modern, urban commando styled.

What plastic chemicals are used in these? are there bpa and other harmful chemicals used?

It doesn't say BPA free anywhere on package so I would assume that yes they have some chemicals but honestly I am not a 100 percent sure. They probably do and most likely they came from China .
