Its a higher quality beater/lower level 'good knife'. Picked it up to have as a back up in my work bag and ive actually been carrying it daily as an EMS working for about a year now. Its on the bigger side for an EDC knife for me (probably wouldnt be my first choice if I had an office job or I was still doing SAR) but its thin, light and a good slicer for cutting BS open and even cutting up an apple. Review: Big blade, easy carry, very inexpensive - Fantastic blade for the price. This is a large blade but the knife is so thin and light you cannot even tell its in your pocket. Get your fingers out of the way once its broke in though. Cut my finger 3x breaking it in :). Its so sharp I didnt think I was cut and they were all pretty deep.
