Wrapped lights around dog leash for night walks (gets dark at 4:30!). I will order these again. This set was great. It came with 7 light wires AND 7 battery packs! So many other options only provide 3 battery packs. One battery pack did break (wire broke at battery base) BUT that was purely my fault by the way I was holding it on dog walks. So nice that I can just connect lights to a different battery pack and not have to restring the lights. Battery packs also have a clip to hook on belt loop or pants. 2 AA batteries - seem to last long enough. There is a slight buzzing with some of the battery packs, but it is tolerable. We also wrapped lights around bike baskets - good for safety any time. Review: Bright at night and easy to work with - I used this to light up part of a prop for a fan convention I recently went to. Battery life was good and it was easy to work with. It was plenty bright at dusk or dark but obviously not during the day. Overall I was very happy with these nights and will be working them into other props. ## Features - Flexible - Battery Pack Controller (4 Modes: on/off Mode, Solid on Mode, Flash Mode, Fast Flash Mode) (NOTICE: Due to the working principle, the controller will come out the high pitch sound when it is supplying power to the El wire.) - Great for Parties, Costumes, Decorations, Christmas, Car, Light Signal, Burning man, Halloween - 2.3mm. Energy saving. Require 2"AA" Batteries (not included) - Water resistant and weather durable ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01M5E7W2U | | Additional Features | Water Resistant | | Best Sellers Rank | #105,871 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) #285 in Indoor String Lights | | Brand | JYtrend | | Brand Name | JYtrend | | Color | Multiple | | Control Method | Touch | | Controller Type | Touch Control | | Customer Reviews | 4.1 out of 5 stars 1,082 Reviews | | Included Components | 7x Battery pack controller, 7 x 9ft El Wire(blue, Red, White, Green, orange, Purple, Pink) | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Indoor, Outdoor | | Indoor/Outdoor Usage | Indoor, Outdoor | | Item Weight | 13.5 Ounces | | Light Color | Green, Neon | | Light Source Type | Neon | | Manufacturer | USAHITEC | | Manufacturer Part Number | JYEL105 | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Number | JYEW9F105 | | Number of Batteries | 2 AA batteries required. | | Number of Items | 7 | | Number of Light Sources | 1 | | Occasion | Christmas, Halloween | | Power Source | Battery Powered | | Product Style | Modern | | Seasons | Christmas, Halloween | | Special Feature | Water Resistant | | Theme | Halloween | | UPC | 610098789147 | | Unit Count | 7 Count | | Water Resistance Level | Water Resistant | ## Product Details - **Color:** Multiple - **Brand:** JYtrend - **Indoor/Outdoor Usage:** Indoor, Outdoor - **Special Feature:** Water Resistant - **Light Source Type:** Neon - **Power Source:** Battery Powered - **Light Color:** Green, Neon - **Theme:** Halloween - **Occasion:** Christmas, Halloween - **Style:** Modern ## Images ![7 Pack 9ft Neon Light El Wire w/Battery Pack (Green, Blue, Red, Orange, Purple, White, Pink) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81zNDtqLvBL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Does each color have its own battery pack** A: Yes each Neon wire comes with a battery pack. **Q: Can they be cut to fit - can they be attached end to end in color pattern (blue-white-blue) is the an automotive 12vdc adaptor plug available?** A: Yes, they can be cut to fit. These el wires only have one connector at one end that connect to the controller. They come with 3v battery pack controller. 3V battery pack does not support 12VDC adapter. **Q: What are the dimensions of the controller/battery holder?** A: 1 inch by 3 1/2 inches (to hold 2 AA batteries & wiring) and about 1/2 inch thick. Not too hard to hide if needed. **Q: Is the tone that is heard when it is on put there for a specific reason? Had a set with no sound. New set has it. Description mentions sound** A: Due to the controller working principle, it is normal the controller will come out the sound. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Got for dog leash and bikes but Halloween Costume was awesome! *by R***H on January 3, 2020* Very fun and easy Halloween Costume (just Velcro, rubber bands, and safety pins to make a quick and easy stick-person.) Battery life was good and it was easy to work with. It was plenty bright at dusk or dark but obviously not during the day. Overall I was very happy with these nights and will be working them into other props. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very bright and easy to use *by A***A on December 15, 2020* These were very easy to use. Each color comes with its own battery pack. I was using them make signs for Halloween. They bent easily to form words for my signs. They were very bright and lasted all night with no problems. The only real issue I could see is that you can't string them end to end. That said, each strand was long enough that I didn't have to worry about that. The battery packs are pretty heavy so it might be difficult to attach a bunch of them to something like a costume. The battery packs are not waterproof so they need to be protected if being used outdoors. I had excellent weather and only used them for one night so I don't know how well they would hold up for longer periods of time or with rain. There is a slight humming noise, but it wasn't very loud and did not bother me. ## Frequently Bought Together - JYtrend 7 Pack 9ft Neon Light El Wire w/Battery Pack (Green, Blue, Red, Orange, Purple, White, Pink) - ArtSkills Make Your Own Neon Sign Kit, Pink Neon Lights for Bedroom Décor, Wall Décor, LED Flexible Light Strip for Custom Neon Signs - MaxLax EL Wire 5 Pack, 9ft Neon Light Wire Noise Reduction with Battery Pack(Green, Blue, Red, White, Pink)… (9ft) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/37467353-7-pack-9ft-neon-light-el-wire-w-battery-pack](https://www.desertcart.no/products/37467353-7-pack-9ft-neon-light-el-wire-w-battery-pack) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-27*
