My main concern was finding a tool that works well for someone with hemiparesis—my entire right side is affected, so I rely solely on my left hand for tasks like this. First Impressions and Unboxing: The packaging was straightforward and simple to open. Inside, I found both utility knives and five extra blades, all neatly organized. No unnecessary plastic ties or frustrating seals, which is a relief for anyone with limited dexterity. Ease of Use: Compared to the WorkPro, this utility knife stands out in a big way. With some knives, especially ones like the WorkPro that just have a handle with no rubber or similar, my hand tends to slip down the handle, making it awkward and sometimes even unsafe to use one-handed. This model, though, fits comfortably in my left hand and stays secure—no slipping, no awkward grip adjustments. Cutting performance is excellent. The blade sliced through heavy-duty packing tape on a shipping box without any drag or hesitation. I also appreciate the three-step blade extension, which lets you choose your preferred length depending on the job. Switching blades is painless too; you don’t need extra tools or a ton of force to swap them out. Recommendation: If you’re looking for a reliable utility knife that’s easy to use with one hand—especially if you have reduced grip strength or dexterity issues—I’d absolutely recommend this one over the WorkPro Premium Utility Knife. The ergonomic grip, simple blade change, and smooth cutting action make it a much better fit for anyone dealing with similar accessibility needs. If you want to check out the WorkPro for comparison, you can find it here. Summary: Simple, frustration-free unboxing Comfortable, non-slip grip for one-handed use Clean, easy cuts through tough tape Adjustable blade length with three settings Quick and tool-free blade changes This utility knife has made a typically challenging task much easier for me, and I think it’d be a great fit for anyone looking for an accessible, dependable option. Review: No disappointment with these sturdy made utility Box Cutters, - In recent years, the local big box stores like Lowe's & Home Depot no longer carry a favorite box cutter. I took a chance on these & they arrived beyond my expectations. Solid, sharp, nice grip without being oversized, & extra blades included. Especially good for the numerous boxes received & the hard plastic containers from the l grocery stores. I have ordered additional ones for gifts & they were well received. ## Features - PREMIUM UTILITY KNIFE SET: Experience reliable cutting with the INTERNET'S BEST Premium Utility Knife Set. Grip is well made, Blade stop works well, Blade never slips from handle. Blade is easy to change **Q: With set, will I be able to cut vinyl tiles?** A: from my experince as a general contractor, the best way to cut vinyl tiles is to either place them in a regular oven (not a micro-wave ) @200 degrees for about 2-3 minutes . the tiles will cut like butter .be careful, .the tiles will be very warm and very flexible. the other alternative is a hairdryer on high for about 30 seconds, but, don't hold the dryer in one place ,or it may burn the tiles. so, to answer your question, yes , this knife is very good at cutting vinyl tiles and sometimes you can cut them(the tiles) cold, but, be careful the tiles sometimes are brittle **Q: What are the 3 blade lengths?** A: Measuring along the cutting edge from where it emerges from the tool to point, the blade extends just over 3/8" (not quite 1/2"), 3/4", and 1". Hope this helps. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great knife, even for someone who is blind with a disability like Hemiparesis! *by P***. on August 4, 2025* I recently tested this utility knife alongside the WORKPRO Premium Utility Knife, Retractable All Metal Heavy Duty Box Cutter, Quick Change Blade Razor Knife, with 10 Extra Blades (the one my friend Jessica originally recommended). They are solidly made and fit comfortably into my hand or pockets. I like that there are two so I can carry one with me and leave one at home for my property management people to use. Upon arrival, they had very sharp and sturdy blades that continue to be sharp after cutting many heavy grade boxes. I recommend these box cutters for anyone. I especially recommend for people who, through their business, receive many shipments and have to break down boxes for recycle. ## Frequently Bought Together - INTERNET'S BEST Premium Utility Knife Set | Retractable Box Cutter with Rubber Handle | Heavy-Duty Cutting for Cardboard, Carpet, Plastic | Retractable Blade | Includes 2 Razor Knives & Extra Blades - 3-Pack 8" Heavy Duty Scissors with Ultra Sharp Blades and Comfort Grip Handles - For Office, Home, School, Sewing, and Crafts - Sharpie Permanent Markers Set, Quick Drying And Fade Resistant Fine Point Marker For Wood, Plastic, Paper, Metal, And More, Drawing, Coloring, And Poster Marker , Black, 12 Count --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/37432991-internets-best-premium-utility-knife-set-retractable-box-cutter-rubber](https://www.desertcart.no/products/37432991-internets-best-premium-utility-knife-set-retractable-box-cutter-rubber) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-07*
