I was already using a behringer bass drum mic so knew they would be ok. These are if the same good quality and with them being metal cased they should last a long time. Sound was good from first try so very pleased. The rim holders fit my drum hoops and didn't move whilst playing a whole gig so very pleased. Would definitely recommend to anyone on a budget to but these, they might not be the smallest microphones but even on my 8" tom the mic didn't get in the way whilst playing.
