There's a definite click if it's under load at the time. but no other noise or resistance once spinning or after release. The catch should be held in the upwards, 90-degreee, position by spring pressure. **Q: I think mine might be faulty. When the unlock button is pressed, the handle can’t always be rotated forwards, only backwards. Is this normal?** A: HI, I think that is probably faulty! ...mine rotates both ways when release button is pressed... best thing is to contact amazon **Q: I can't see a version for the right-side, is there one?** A: As far as I am aware - There isn't one... you can always check SMALLRIG website! ...if they have one in their arsenal - it would be on their website. **Q: Does this handle allow the screen on an a7s iii to flip out, or does it block it?** A: This handle has to be mounted onto Camera cage ..and once is mounted - it will be approx. 2 inches away from the edge of the camera and screen - therefore it should NOT abstract your flip screen! I bought one for my A7RIII and it's FANTASTIC! Great Finish and High-Quality construction - Only thing I would ask for is that perhaps angle adjustment of the handle could be finer - as a micro-adjustment... it IS good as it is - but in my opinion - it could be improved... than - it would be absolutely 100% perfect! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The perfect camera cage handle *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 9 May 2022* This is a great addition to my Sony A7iv cage. I love how the handle rotates and locks with the little thumb leaver. It's very sturdy and comfortable too. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent product *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 6 March 2022* It’s better then I expected, very sturdy and good quality. Very nicely fits into your hand. Quite heavy but still worth it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ WOW! *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 27 October 2021* Fantastic item ...really helps with handling my A7R-III which is quite heavy, especially with huge SIGMA lens attached! ... Rotating function is great, but I would prefer for release lever to be bit smaller since it's quite easy to engage it accidentally.Fantastically made - Great quality unit from SmallRig as always! - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! ## Frequently Bought Together - SmallRig Push-Button Rotating NATO Handle, Quick Release Handgrip for DLSR Camera Cage Kit, w/Built-in NATO Rail, Left Side - 3260 - SMALLRIG Lightweight NATO Top Handle, Quick Release NATO Grip w/NATO Rail for DSLR Camera Cage, Universal Top Handle with 5 Cold Shoe Adapters - 4345 Black - SmallRig Cage for Sony FX30 FX3 with Cable Clamp for HDMI, Classic Bright Black Surface, Included Cold Shoe and NATO Rail, Modular Design Compatible with Original XLR Handle --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/371907970-rotary-handle-nato-3260](https://www.desertcart.no/products/371907970-rotary-handle-nato-3260) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-30*
