Mostly good, with a small gripe. I like the Vitamin D3 2000iu dose and that it's manufactured in the USA, third party tested, and free of artificial additives. The pills are tiny and gel coated, so they go down easy. The bottle design could be better though, it feels flimsy and awkward to grip. If they improved the bottle, this would be a solid 4 stars for me.

I purchased this D3 product firm NatureWise as it seemed a slightly better deal than the 1000iu version from NOW. Little did I know it came with a challenge: for some reason the gel caps were stuck together in one mass. I was able to take a few off for a week with a fingernail, but the bottle got in the way after a bit. So I cut the bottle open by breaking the neck with a pair of pliers and the bottle itself was easily cut with some kitchen shears. In order to free up the pills I then individually removed each gel cap one at a time using nitrile gloved hands and physillium husk powder to ensure they stayed separate after completion. It was a bit of fun on a Saturday afternoon and only took about an hour, much more interesting than my typical activities of watching paint dry or darning socks. Also fine tuning my ability to lightly grip each gel cap and gently turn individual ones to release them from the mass was a helpful honing of my hand sewing skills. As a bonus I believe I discovered the primary reason was a few of the gel caps structural integrity had failed, which answered why they were all stuck together. A coincidental stroke of good luck, I imagine.

These are the easiest to swallow. I will definitely keep these on re-order. I highly recommend especially if you don’t like taking pills. They also don’t make you feel nauseous.

This vitamin D3, (2000IU) supplement is a good product because it works and contains organic extra virgin olive oil. The D3 supplement gives me energy and no noticeable side effects.
