A: Choose an epoxy-compatible repair resin. Do not use polyester resin on exposed EPS foam—it can damage the foam.

**Q: Can I use epoxy resin on a polyester board?**
A: Yes. Ding All epoxy repair resin works on both epoxy and polyester surfboards.

**Q: Do all repair kits need sunlight?**
A: No. Resin mixed with hardener cures without sunlight. SunCure resin, including the bonus tubes in Super kits, needs UV exposure.

**Q: What is Q-Cell filler used for?**
A: Q-Cell thickens resin to fill deeper dings and missing foam. For resin-and-hardener systems, mix the hardener into the resin before adding Q-Cell.

**Q: Is working time the same as cure time?**
A: No. Working time is the time available to apply mixed resin. Cure time is the time needed for it to harden. Follow your kit’s instructions before returning to the water.

Better instructions on mixing ratio is needed in the resin kit in plain English. The resin works but was nervous about it curing correctly!

Please take caution with any chemicals pretty strong smell the function part was a miracle to be able to mix and sand. In my case with Qcell depending on the # of catalyst drop it take little longer or fast to dry depending temperature too. at 90 degrees-5 drops catalyst, I let it dry over night and was solid on my board lite and almost very strong. That was cool😎
