I bought the 3/4 inch wide x 72 inch long tofl strap. can you tell me what oz. leather this is. i need to figure out the right length snaps to use.

Thank you for your question. The leather is 8-9 oz about 1/8 inch hop that helps Dan

Would this be soft enough to wrap a steering wheel? Didn't see that application yet! Thanks!

The leather itself is soft but it might be too thick for that. I used it for replacing the straps on a woman's purse and it was ideal for that...

Will this hold a crease if fold it in half to make key holders or is it too soft?

Mr. Pickle's, thank you for your question. When you fold over leather you would need to score it and possibly glue or sew it to stay in place. Would not work with just creasing most of the time. Thank you Dan

How thick is this leather?

This leather is 1/8 of an inch thick.
