It's about the size of any other whistle and plastic. I have a small bottle of eye drops next to my laptop here, so to give you a rough estimate it's about that weight. **Q: the strap doesn't seem long enough to fit around the wrist of my glove. Im I installing it wrong?** A: I put mine in front of the cuff and it fits fine there. **Q: Is the included lanyard the same color as the whistle choice, i.e. black/black, pink/pink? Thx!** A: As it pertains to my company's current stock of these whistles, the lanyard color matches the whistle color. To make sure you get what you are expecting, however, I recommend contacting whichever seller you decide to purchase from to verify what they would be sending. I believe we have seen Fox 40 whistles of different colors packed with black lanyards in the past, using the same UPC number. **Q: Is it loud enough to scare away a bear, god forbid I run into one while camping?** A: It is so loud, that you will want to cover your ears before blowing full force. However, that's no guarantee it will deter a determined bear. ## Frequently Bought Together - Fox 40 Classic CMG Pealess Safety Whistle, 115 dB, White - 9603-0708 - Fox 40 Classic CMG Whistle with Lanyard Referee-Coach, Safety Alert-Pink - Fox 40 Classic Official Whistle with Break Away Lanyard (Black) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/3679507-fox-40-classic-cmg-whistle](https://www.desertcart.no/products/3679507-fox-40-classic-cmg-whistle) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
