Hint: you don't spray this stuff on the tracks!) At first, I thought, I'm wasting my time. How much difference can this make? And, to be fair, it took 4 or 5 operations before I REALLY noticed a difference. About a month later, I realized, my garage door is now almost completely silent. Note, this works great on garage doors and other door hinges. It does not work to reduce noise from significant others. In fact, quite the opposite. Review: Greased lightening. Smoothed out garage door operation quickly. - I read that the best grease for garage door springs is white lithium, and went on the hunt. Finding this, I quickly clicked and had it in a couple days. It arrived with a little red straw on the side so you could put it in the nozzle and have a finer spray, or you could spray it without the straw. I used the straw to keep it from going all over the wall, and after a couple up and down actions of the door, it is MUCH smoother. I also used it in the bearings of the rollers. I am told you do not want to grease the tracks, but rather just keep them clean (a good use for WD-40 I suppose), so I skipped that. Since purchasing it I have found a couple other good uses for it as well. I just got mine yesterday and it does come with a straw thing to pinpoint. It's taped on the side of the can.
