I have this cooler on the 12900ks and it cools well. I leave it encoding video for 24hr sometimes and have had no problems. The cpu definitely runs hot. You can feel the warm air blowing off but the heat sync is affective. **Q: Does this support LGA1700 out of the box, does it include any necessary kits/mounting brackets?** A: Not entirely sure, but rather than asking here, I'd ask on the Noctua site. I know mine came with brackets for both AMD and Intel, but I'm an AMD guy, so I don't know if LGA1700 is one of the Intel brackets this thing supports.
