It is powerful enough to accomplish most household duties, yet light-weight enough that I can handle using it, despite the fact that I have major arthritic pain in my hands. It is a great drill for the money! So much less than the big package stores sell, yet just as useful. So easy to use and easy to hold. It has great battery life, one charge was enough for my husband to repair several loose boards in the fence and for me to disassemble the dining room chairs to reupholster and them reassemble them. Still had a lot of battery life left after all those chores.
