Review: Great price and quality - Very simple but effective and bright.
Review: Fun! - So far we are really happy with these tiny lights on a string. I purchased them to decorate a series of topiary ivy Christmas trees I grew to put out in the yard to have something to look at that was Christmasy but can also be used to brighten up the backyard and frontyard nighttime view year round. These little lights did the trick. Charming, maybe even a bit magical. Of course so far I've only had them up for a few weeks and I do live in the land of sunshine (Los Angeles). Frankly I love the effect. I've reorderd twice. They were an absolute inconvenience to unspool and respool them to put them on the trees. By the second set of lights I was good at it, though. However, I was working in a circle pattern and not a straight line so it wasn't terribly inconvenient. Respooling the lights onto a round spool-like object made a difference in ease of installation. The coated wire kinks very easily so if I were going to take them down, store, and reuse, I'd again use a spool of some sort to wind them back up - a piece of pvc irrigation pipe worked great. Use scotch tape to hold the wire when you start the rewind. I sure hope they last for a few years. I keep trying to order solar lights and find many of them poorly manufactured with little or no reliability or they are miserably short-lived. However, right now, on these winter nights, I look out at midnight and they are still glowing away. About 1 a.m. they start to fade. But I'm faded by then, too.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Are they water proof?**
A: Yes and no. Yes they are water proof to a certain extend. Out if the 3 sets (6 total strands) I had up for Halloween, 1 of them stopped working within a couple of days. Not really sure what happened. The other 5 worked without any issues, even after several FL rainstorms and sprinklers hitting them throughout the weeks. Overall they are good for the price.

**Q: How do you know when it is on?**
A: If you cover the solar screen, they will light up if turned on.

**Q: Do these come as 2 sets like pictured?**
A: Yes, you get two separate lights and solar panels

**Q: can the wiring be cut and a new led be attached**
A: I don't believe you can it seems once the wire is cut it wouldn't be able to be spliced back together
