I successfully fitted it to my 1987 P30 motorhome with a 454 engine carbureted. I also replace the condenser all the hoses the dryer the expansion valve and then eventually switched out the evaporator coil with an under dash evaporator coil as you see in the picture. Then and only then with the use of r152a did I achieve 35 to 37° f results. Until I got the new Dash unit I was getting 55° Fahrenheit at the coldest. But with the new under dash evaporator coil the new compressor condenser hoses and dryer and r152a I am now getting mid-30° temperatures freezing cold it's amazing.
