Powered by a single included AAA battery, it produces a single 2-lumen output that is ideal for reading or searching under seats or in drawers. Constructed out of an anodized aluminum alloy, the Solitaire is corrosion, impact, and weather resistant. Weighing only 0.8 ounces, it is the perfect size to carry with you and comes with a key lead. With the dependability of the Solitaire on your keys, you never have to be without light again. From the Manufacturer No more fumbling to get your key in the lock, this innovative flashlight allows you to use your keys and the light beam in the same direction at the same time. Weighing less than one ounce (with battery), this flashlight is three inches long with a unique shape that makes it fit conveniently into a pocket or purse. The cam-driven head changes the beam from spot to flood, with the turn of the flashlight head, making it easier for you to see what and where you need to. It's anodized inside and out for improved corrosion resistance and durability, with a self-cleaning switch that virtually eliminates oxidation. The high grade O-rings at each opening ensure resistance to water and shock while the low resistance circuitry allows a more efficient use of the batteries. The diamond-knurled handle is easy to grip, and the spare lamp in the tail cap will keep your path lit. Your purchase includes a key lead accessory and AAA battery. Manufactured in the United States. Color: purple. Review: Good flashlight - I like this tiny flashlight because it fits on my keychain pretty well without being too obnoxious. It also has the twist top to change the beam which is helpful when I need to focus the light without making it too bright. It doesn’t turn on in my pocket like button lights sometimes do and the battery lasts a long time. I love the incandescent light for lighter duty tasks especially when I need to see without disturbing others too much. Review: Nice little flashlight - Bought this for my wife to keep in her purse. It’s small so it fits nice and she loves the color. Nice and bright for its small size. MagLite is always a quality product. And it’s made in USA. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not up to Maglite standards *by R***V on July 2, 2020* I love Maglites. I love how they look. I love how they feel. I have more of them than one person should because I love always having one close at hand. But I don't love the Solitaire. At first, it's everything you'd expect from a Maglite. It's bright enough and the head rotates smoothly to turn the light on and off and adjust the beam width. You can remove the head completely for "candle mode" to light a small area all around the flashlight. These include a strap to attach it to a keychain, and that's how I use my Solitaire. If it's dark, I always have a light in my pocket so I can see where to put the key. But where you'd think a Mag would hold up to living in a pocket if any flashlight could, it doesn't. Even with a fresh battery, after a few months the light flickers and is dim, if it comes on at all. Sometimes it will if I tap it just right. So I replace the flashlight, and then the same thing happens again after another few months. It's a shame, because there's so much to like. The metal barrel is sturdy and its shape makes my keys easy to find. It comes in many colors. Since you twist it to turn it on, it never gets turned on by accident in your pocket. There's even a spare bulb in the tail cap, though I've never had to use it since the flashlight's mechanism always fails so soon. It's not such an expensive light that I can't afford to replace it, but Maglites aren't supposed to be disposable. This is the incandescent version, and I always buy the purple one. I may have to try the LED version next and see if it holds up better, but I sure will miss my purple since the LED Solitaire isn't available in that color. ## Frequently Bought Together - MagLite K3A986Maglite Solitaire Incandescent 1-Cell AAA Flashlight Purple - Maglite Solitaire Incandescent 1-Cell AAA Flashlight Blue - Maglite Solitaire Incandescent 1-Cell AAA Flashlight Red - K3A036 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/3636148-k3a986maglite-solitaire-incandescent-1-cell-aaa-flashlight-purple](https://www.desertcart.no/products/3636148-k3a986maglite-solitaire-incandescent-1-cell-aaa-flashlight-purple) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-13*
