You can set the echo show to play a chime of your choice when someone rings the doorbell. You can also see on the echo show a live feed from the doorbell. The echo show comes in very handy with any of the blink cameras. All you have to say is Alexa show me doorbell etc. and it will show you a live feed from what ever camera you want. **Q: It says local storage with sync module 2. i also see where it says sync module 2 is recommended and with account before 04/15/21??** A: I pay $10 a month even tho I can use the sync module because it will take several minutes before you get a notification. (It should be instant so I think they do this so you pay for the service) It's instant when you pay for the service.(Well, maybe not instant but 10-15 seconds.) There is no reason that it should get to their servers and then sent back to my phone before it sends to the sync module inside my house 15 feet away on fast WiFi. **Q: Will this work with the original sinc module?** A: Hi, Thank you for asking about our new Blink Video Doorbell! Yes! The Video Doorbell is compatible with both the first generation Sync Module and the Sync Module 2. With this, it can absolutely be connected to any existing Blink system that you may have. It is important to note that each Sync Module can support up to 10 devices. **Q: If hooked up to my existing doorbell wiring, will this unit make my existing "dumb" doorbell chime ring?** A: As long as you have at least 16 volts both will ring but you may have to delete the setup and then reinstall using the prompts for a ‘wired’ mechanical doorbell. I had to do this to get both to work; mine would not recognize the wired voltage the first time. Yes, you must go through a specific correct sequence of prompts to get it to recognize the external voltage. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/363555651-blink-video-doorbell-sync-module-2-two-way-audio-hd](https://www.desertcart.no/products/363555651-blink-video-doorbell-sync-module-2-two-way-audio-hd) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
