Review: Did not work as advertised for me but I found a great use for it! - So my hands are rather weak, and this is too stiff for me to wrap around a lid. However, I have granite counter tops that are slippery, and this silicone jar opener works great underneath glass bowls to keep them from slipping as I cook or toss a salad. Also, I place the jar opener under items on my dinner tray to keep them from sliding. A very useful purchase!!

So my hands are rather weak, and this is too stiff for me to wrap around a lid.
