Color Sensational Shaping Lip Liner

Exactly what I was looking for. A cool toned contour lip liner. This is exactly that. I need to find a more pinky colored lip stick to wear with it to acheive the look I'm going for however, the pic below is after hours of wear. The main outline has held on strong but the inner line has been taken over by the main lip colour. This liner is so creamy and easy to put on, but lasts forever. The hype is so real.

This lipliner is amazing, I definitely recommend it, I combined it with my different lipsticks, and it goes perfectly because of the soft color, it is like a paste, really easy to apply and it last a lot. If you don't have one this is your sign to buy it.

This is very close to the color that I normally wear, with dark red hair you do have to kind of put it on a little bit darker more than one time really or it looks tinted red when it starts to wear off a little bit. Watch out Maybelline also has another one just like this with the same name and it is red! Like a bright Maroon!!!

this is my favorite lip liner of all time i use this as my go to for my lip combo it’s very smooth and easy to apply, but it does come off pretty easy like while eating and overtime. the color is darker in person than how it looks online so be aware of that but it is a very nice product . it does run out pretty fast when doing your makeup more often.

Went on like butter, so smooth and the color (dusty rose) is EXACTLY like the photo online. I’m hooked. As far as longevity I would say you do have to reapply but that doesn’t bother me much

I tried this red lip liner and overall, I’m happy with the color and its ability to outline my lips clearly. The red is vibrant and bold, which pairs perfectly with a variety of red lipsticks. It glides on smoothly without tugging, and I appreciate the precision it gives for creating sharp lines. However, the staying power could be better. I noticed that after a few hours, the liner started to fade, especially around the edges of my lips. It also needed some touch-ups after eating or drinking. While it’s not a major issue for me, I was hoping for a little more longevity, especially for a bold color like red. That said, the color payoff is great, and it’s easy to apply. I just recommend using it with a long-wear lipstick for a more lasting look. Overall, a solid lip liner if you’re willing to do a little maintenance throughout the day!

The idea is right on, but upon first use, it broke. I don't know if it's because it's winter (even though I'm indoors so it's not like the pencil was freezing). I prefer a clear liner so I don't have to try to match my lip colors, but this one won't be purchased again. I might even return it. It's THAT bad. If it were a thicker pencil like my old ELF brand that would have worked better.

LOVE this old school lipliner so much I shouldn’t leave a review, as there are a limited quantity on the market, and I selfishly want them all for myself, but mainly, I think we all leave reviews to try to convince manufacturers of the quality they already HAD in products they keep choosing to discontinue. I simply wish Maybelline would bring back this type/color of lip liner!!! I bought the raisin color and have been using it for over 10 years. It is a pencil you sharpen and it hardly EVER breaks off! This particular shade is from the burgundy family, nicely warmed and muted with a beautiful spice color and it contains the slightest flecks of barely-there sparkle. I hate to even say sparkle, because it’s so slight, but just enough to make it interesting and give it character. It’s for everyday wear to the office, using a lighter application with lip gloss over the top or can be worn at night as both liner and lipstick, and becomes richer with heavier application. I wear plain ol Chapstick over the top. It stays on great, I reapply once after lunch and I’m good for the rest of the day, even eating a snack or two in between. So, it’s not one of those 12 hour sticks, it’s just simple, beautiful and non-fussy. I’m fair-skinned and light-haired and it’s the best shade to bring out my other features without looking goth. It’s so classy and timeless. I just love it!! Now on to my rant...I think it’s crazy how consumerism is resulting in the disappearance of so many products nowadays, to be replaced by a “better”, upgraded version...blah, blah, blah. But, this has been one of those items that was always out of stock because people were always buying it! There were many times over the years that I’d have to go back when the store’s truck came with a new shipment. And I didn’t mind!! Manufacturers KNOW we are buying these items, so I assume they look at their potential sales goals in one of their quarterly meetings and think, how can we get more money out of the consumer? Oh, yes, reformulate it...at a higher price, with less quality ingredients that the consumer goes through faster, and waa-laa...more money in our pockets!! I have seen this with SO many products in the last few years!! One of these days, they’ll have all of us foolish consumers completely “reformulated” in our buying habits and just accepting whatever “new” product comes along to replace all the old. But actually, the greed by manufacturers to meet their sales goals with these tactics, will reveal that there’s so much more work in that and more importantly, they’ll find that consumers are not as loyal as they once were. We will simply move on to the next new thing and to other brands. If big companies want more money, why not just raise the prices of products they know have sold so well for years, rather than removing them from shelves? They come up with these “replacement products”, but let’s be honest, there’s no such thing as that today and we all know that game. Nothing is like the original, and honestly, the price point can’t stay the same if it is a good, quality product. We, as consumers, know we’re getting a good deal on certain products we’ve used for years, but what the big guys don’t give us credit for, is that we’d also be willing to pay more for THAT SAME PRODUCT vs having it be replaced or not having it available at all!!! Just raise the damn prices and let consumers show their loyalty by paying higher prices for said quality. It’s called value! Something we are losing more and more of today!! Thanks for reading...I know I CAN’T be the only one out here frustrated over the higher priced, lower quality, shit products that are replacing all the tried-and-true ones from our not-so-recent past!

The colour looks super nice on my lips. I'm NC 42 to NC 45 skin complexion. They're basically my lips but better kind of nude on my pigmented lips. The application is very smooth and creamy. High colour payoff. Only con is that it transfers easily if used just on its own without a lipstick.

I have about a million lip liners. I’m a bit obsessed. I bought this one just because and POW! I am hooked. It glides on so smoothly I assumed it would only last about 5 minutes but before I knew it it dried down to a perfect blending level of dryness and now I think it’s a long lasting lipliner. I cannot say enough about this. It performs perfectly. I bought toffee and tonight I bought nude. I can’t believe these are under 10 dollars. I love this more than any of my other lip liners. I’m going to get another toffee. I need to stock up on this. 10/10

I love a good rosy neutral, im fair skinned with cool/red undertones so this works great for me with my mauvy and cool rose lip stains. Also I LOVE that it comes with its own sharpener, sometimes I just don’t wanna take a separate one with me so it’s super convenient lol. Maybelline has great lip products, drug store brands have really stepped up their game the last 10 years and their lip products are a go to for me. Awesome longevity and super soft on the lips!
