Are the BR30 bulbs dimmable from a wall control and not just from remote?

It's just a regular bulb, not a smart bulb. You can't rely on the wall controller to adjust the light like a smart light.

What are the measurements of the bulb ?

5" total length, 3-3/4" bulb width. Hope this helps.

Anyone know how this would work with a planted fish tank?

I would not do that. It's for plants only
