**Q: I read reviews that it gets dull quick, has that been the case with everyones experience with the 3/8 bit?**
A: I don't know if it gets dull quickly or not. The one I bought is still stuck deep in the wall where it broke off the first time I used it.

**Q: I have to run 12/2 single line what size drill would you recommend**
A: The answer is the always popular "it depends".

Grab any bit set with large enough bits to compare to your 12-2 cable. Find the smallest bit that is larger than the cable with insulation, etc. on it exactly as you intend to pull the cable. Standard 12-2 romex ought to go through a 5/8 inch hole, but I would prefer to use a 3/4 inch hole if I could. I have samples of two kinds of 12-2 that would need at least a 1 inch hole due to the sheathing on them.

Be sure to allow for any fittings that you plan to pull (which is sometimes necessary but almost always a bad idea).

**Q: How could this work with your extensions when this has a triangular shank and the extension has a 1/4 hex end ?**
A: It appears that the extension grabs the drill bit with two set screws. So, as long as the triangular shank fits within the receiver, the set screws will securely hold the drill bit. Not to worry.

**Q: Do you have a wood auger bit(made in USA) 18" long?**

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Adequate Drill Bit

I used this last weekend to drill some holes to run Ethernet cable through my walls. Now, this drill bit did what it is supposed to do. It drilled through the floor behind my wall so I could run the Ethernet down into the wall below. The bit itself was sharp and bit enough for me to get the whole started without too much trouble. The issue I had (and I'll admit, this may be more an issue with my drill or myself) is that trying to get the bit to back out through the holes it made was problematic. One thing I noticed was that the part of this bit that you put in the drill chuck is quite smooth. I had to really tighten my drill around it to prevent it from slipping when I was trying to back it out through the holes. It took me about 15 minutes of tightening and retightening my drill on this bit and wiggling it around in reverse before it came out. There was a brief moment in time where I thought I was going to just have to push the bit through the hole and leave it in my wall. So when it's all said and done, this bit performed its job and I was able to complete my task. Just want to point out that the finish on this thing is smooth and may cause problems.
