The question behind the question seems to be, "could I just reuse a Mr Clean misting bottle?" and for that I'd say "maybe". The bottle might have traces of the original contents in it so it might not be great for some plants. I, personally, would hesitate to drink from a Mr Clean bottle even after washing it out. The other factor is that I'm not sure if the MR. C bottle can be opened to refill. There are a ton of consumer products that are engineered specifically NOT to be reusable. Hard to say. **Q: How many seconds does it spray in one squeeze of the trigger? And does it really spray upside down?** A: It sprays maybe a second with one press, and there is a little bit of a build up, for example if you press it three times, it will spray maybe for three seconds, but there is a limit where it will stop adding more, for example if you press it say 10 times it will probably only spray for like 5 seconds. And it doesn't spray for long when upside down. There's a tube that goes to the bottom of the bottle, and if you turn it upside down, it makes that tube feed into air. You go get like 2 or 3 seconds of spray when it's upside down though, before the tube runs out of the water that's already in it **Q: can I fill this with rubbing alcohol?** A: Yeah why not.i think the mist sprayer will work fine with the rubbing alcohol . **Q: Does the top pull off or unscrew ?
