**Q: 17.49x6.25x11.87 are the listed interior dimension. I'm assuming they are out of orders d the width is 11.87 and the depth is 6.25?**
A: The total useable space that I measured with the case sitting flat on it's bottom and facing the latched side of the case....17" left to right X 11.5" front to back x 6" top to bottom. This is measured without foam and takes into account the indentations on the front, back, and sides.

**Q: I'm looking for a camera case that has exterior dimensions of 18 inchx 14 inch 8 inch**
A: Mine is more like 18 3/8 X 13 3/4 X 7 1/4 .  Very well constructed.  We use to protect electrical equipment while travelling from site to site.

**Q: When closed, if you set it down on the spine/hinge, will it stand up or fall over? Like if you set a briefcase on its spine it will stand up.**
A: Like it shows in the photo, if it’s closed handle up hinge on the ground it will stand upright fully loaded. Mine has 6 pistols and 18 fully loaded mags. Stands no problem.

A: The depth is closer to 6" from the inside top to inside bottom.  There is foam included so take that into consideration.  You can remove it or shape it how you want.
