I thought it was going to be simply like the regular Cinnamon Oil by Lorann, but twice as potent. In fact, I don't think it's very much hotter than the Cinnamon Oil, but it's flavor is definitely distinct. There's a hint of woodiness; a bit of clove, maybe. It makes me think of being outside in a forest, smelling the petrichor. I have to say, I personally prefer the original Cinnamon Oil to this Hot Cinnamon. UPDATE: I've pinpointed the taste.
