Headlamp C01

Lighting This has a bright and wide flood light, not a spot light. The light is great for construction, painting, carpentry, plumbing. Sometimes I don't realize how dark the areas I'm working on are until I shut it off. It has High, Low, Red and Red blinking that cycle through the same button. Sometimes the person I'm working near uses my same light because their headlight is washed out by this one. The button is placed in a way that it hasn't gotten accidentally turned on in my tool bag like most of my other headlights. The front tilts and clicks in place at different angles. The lamp is high enough and has a rubber edge so I don't get glare from the light on the top of my glasses. Batteries The rechargeable batteries it comes with are high quality. I think I can work 3-4 hours on the highest setting before it quits. The batteries charge slow (like overnight) if you leave them in the unit and just charge by plugging in the usb. I bought a backup pair of batteries and a charger which goes faster, but the backup batteries don't last as long as the original batteries that came in the lamp. Comfort It's a little heavy compared to other headlight but that's a trade-off for having two 18650 batteries. It is balanced with the batteries being opposite the lamp. It could use a little more padding in the front because you have to tighten it to keep it from falling off when you have to look upside down and sideways a lot (like working on a car and some plumbing). I usually wear it over a backwards baseball cap. Durability The clips are plastic but are holding up so far. Mine has fallen a few times from different height and I've banged it on things and so far it's fine.

I like the wide area of coverage from this bright lite. Perfect for camping, working on cars, or trimming your pets nails. Recharges quickly, and the headband is quite comfortable.

Seller shipped item quickly! Light is bright, but not so bright that it blinds everyone around you. Since this is a COB, the light is evenly distributed, which makes it pleasant to work under. The battery does seems to fade a little faster than I had originally thought. But perhaps I need to cycle it a few more times to get the full potential from it. It isn't a goood light for far out light casting, it is more for seeing within a 10 foot radius of ones personal space.

It you need to light up a 30 foot area really brightly for hours at a time, this is a good choice. It's the floodiest flood light I own. All flood no throw. It's definitely not 2000 lumens, and you aren't going to have 10 hours of usable light, but it's really not a bad light. I have two of them. I turned one on and left it for 4 hours. When I came back it was still running, but only as bright as the "low" setting on the other one with fresh batteries. The red light works well, but is actually a bit too bright for trying to preserve night vision. We use it for cave exploration, in addition to a handheld light. The headlight dies a good job lighting up the area you are walking but not much more than that. Can't comment on durability yet as we have only used them twice.

Outstanding head mounted light! Light weight, bright, three modes, batteries last a long time. No complaints. I have now ordered three of them.

While I was using this light on High Beam the light constantly flickers from bright to super dim, then bright again, and then dim again and it just keeps doing this non stop while I have the light charged up and using it as it's designed to be used. I used this only 4 times, when I plugged the light in to charge the 5th time the plug inside the light for the power or charge cord broke off inside the light! It's worthless now! Junk! I can't seem to find anyone to talk to about this either for warranty or something I hoped but no luck thier either! Grrrr im upset about this 😡☹️

It works great, while the charging port works. I bought this in December of 2023, less than three years later, it will no longer charge. I tried different cables, and new batteries. The charging port will no longer accept a charge. If you don’t mind replacing it every couple of years, it’s a good lamp.

Darkbeam COB headlamp charging system became dislodged/broke stopped working. Darkbeam refunded my money and I’m buying another one. Great customer service. Thanks

the light is very bright and the battery lasts very long
