Review: Little Sony beast - Ok. Just installed it on a Corolla 2009 non-jbl using the stock radio. I didnt want to replace the radio as i am not into loud music, but my speakers were damaged so i had to replace then and wanted to make use of their full potential. The amp does its job very well. I am very impressed. It fits behind the radio perfectly. It is powerful enough to output good sound without blasting, but im sure it can. Well worth the money. Had to play with the wiring but i was able to install with harnesses without cutting any of the original car wires, just the harnesses.
Review: Great quality and awesome value option - I used a loopback harness to wire this amp between the radio and speakers on my non-Bose 2020 GMC Canyon. While this amp doesn't put out a crazy amount of power it was more than enough to "wake up" the speakers in my truck and provide a much fuller listening experience. A huge plus is that the lower power requirements for this amp meant I could power it directly off one of the power wires for my radio.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: does this have to be powered from the battery or can it be powered from head unit?**
A: Needs external power (not from head unit) from battery. I wired mine to fuse block.

**Q: will this amp handle 350 watt speakers or do i need a higher amp?**
A: 350 watt speakers probably have lower sensitivity which means a mismatch for this low wattage amp.  Search and read about speaker sensitivity which is measured in dB.

**Q: What wires are required for a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee with base six speaker radio?**
A: don't know I ran all new wires for four speaker system.

**Q: Is the outside of this amp made of aluminum?**
A: I believe it is thin steel plate.

I purchased this small discreet amp with not much expectations but WOW this thing can be tucked away and hidden just about anywhere I wasn't expecting much as Sony has gone in the wrong direction a few years ago in quality hifi equipment but this little brick packs some punch it sounds great and out performs in my opinion and I'm pretty hard to please when it come to audio equipment I hooked it up to a Joying 10.1 Android HU install was easy and didn't have to run a remote wire if you are not going to run a sub and don't want to tear your truck apart to install a bigger amp and just looking to boost a stock HU this is your ticket Very pleased
