Part was easy to install and fixed my issue of the dryer running red hot even if set to no heat. Took about 20 minutes to replace, could probably due it in 10 minutes the second time. Repair guy wanted nearly $800 to do it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fixed a Long-Standing Problem *by G***. on February 18, 2026* Fixed a problem that our dryer had since new. On an irregular basis, the dryer would shut off with an ER-SH message, which is supposed to mean a thermistor failure. Fine. I replaced the thermistor and the problem seemed to be resolved. Happened again. I doubted another failed thermistor, so I took things apart and carefully cleaned the ducts and thermistor. Seemed OK again. After another failure, I studied the design of the dryer circuitry and concluded that this control board was likely the culprit. I replaced this board and all has been well for a year or so.
