Perfect fit. Easy to install. Wiring was a little difficult. I need a hand with putting the wire through the opening. But looks clean. Great good for the new owners

We purchased this range hood insert as part of our kitchen update for a custom-built hood, and we absolutely love it. It has two speeds and is much quieter than other range hood vents we’ve used, while still doing a great job. One of my favorite features is that the filter can be removed and put right in the dishwasher, which makes cleaning so easy. It fit our custom hood setup perfectly and gave us the clean built-in look we wanted. Very happy with this purchase!

Flimsy sheet metal and too-large mounting holes for the screw heads meant having to drill my own mounting holes to screw unit into cabinet bottom while holding unit. Also, a rear rectangular vent damper referenced in instructions was missing from the package. But once installed, the unit looked good and is satisfactory. Instructions are all but useless. The light fixture is the prize here: choose your own bulb with plenty of light instead of underpowered permanent lighting in other units.

The vent is great and worked perfectly in our custom hood. The vent is quiet when on 1, but strong to suck up a paper towel. The only reason i didn't give it a 5 star is the lights are a blue, bright white and I can't seem to find a warm white or even soft white option to replace them.

Really easy to install, but keep in mind it needs to be wired in and is not a plug-in unit. So far so good — everything is working well up to now. I will update my review later on how it performs over time.

A good range hood at this price point. Appears to be made of real stainless and not 'stainless look' like some other entry-level hoods. It has some weight to it as well. It uses a standard A19 bulb and can be easily replaced, the interior of the hood has a mirror finish to help reflect light. Illumination is great with a 60W bulb. The fan isn't the quietest but no louder than the broan we had previously. After assembly I noticed a few small gaps in some of the metal seams - noticeable with the light on. This was easily fixed by applying some aluminum tape on the interior of the hood at those points. Mounting screws, grease/charcoal filters and paper templates for installation included.
