Deity D4 MINI

This Deity V-Mic D4 Mini has made a massive difference in the lectures my wife records for her online class. I knew we wanted better audio, but I wasn’t expecting such a noticeable improvement. I’m genuinely impressed with how good the recordings sound with this little microphone. Her voice comes through much more clearly, and what really stands out is how much less background noise we hear in the recordings. Instead of distracting sounds competing with what she’s saying, the audio feels much more focused on her voice. For a class lecture, where students need to follow along and understand what’s being explained, that makes a big difference. It’s easy to get caught up in the camera and picture quality when putting together a recording setup, but this purchase really drove home how much the sound matters. A nice picture is great, but clear speech is what makes a lecture easier to listen to. This mic has been a very worthwhile addition to her setup. I can only speak to how we’re using it, but for recording her online lectures, I couldn’t be happier with the improvement. The audio quality and reduction in background noise have exceeded my expectations. If you’re recording classes or similar videos where your voice is the main focus, I highly recommend it. A must have for us!

This is the first DSLR mic that I own for my camera, and I can tell the difference right away. Well, it's not only for DSLR cameras, but you can use it with your smartphone as well, by using the TRRS cable that comes in the box(which is around $14.00 if you buy separately.) That's a saving from the start. Basically, you can do your Instagram/Facebook live sessions or Zoom sessions or just record videos with your family with this mic for better audio results. The mic is a super-cardioid pattern that captures mainly what is in front of it rather than the ambience around so the closer you get the better it sounds. It's very light that it can be attached to the matte box of my camera if needed. Another feature that I like is that you can use it as a shotgun mic with a boom pole. The only thing is you have to make sure there is not too much headroom when filming so you can get as closer as you can to the subject and capture the best sound possible and the last feature that it sold me was the fact that you can connect another microphone to it, so basically you can have two sources of sound and separate them in post. Overall the sound of this microphone is great for such a low price. It's very warm and just crispy enough to where it doesn't accentuate the sh or sss. It's definitely a good choice to have it handy not just for bloggers, YouTubers or filmmakers but regular people that would like to have a good sound out their phones or camera.

Really good mic but only 1 channel audio with iPhone.

I really like this mic. On one hand, it doesn't have as much low end as the similar Rode in the same class, but this has a much hotter output so you don't have to crank your crappy on-camera preamp and introduce more noise. Sounds great, just as if you have a slight low cut/ roll off or high pass- which is great for minimizing wind and rumble noise. Includes wind muff/ dead cat and good shock mount. Impressive performance for this price range. Recommended!

Love this, inexpensive and decent sounding. It feels durable but the holder is a bit limiting and flexible. I love the aux in port to add another mic channel, and it adds a lot to its function. It's very capable and compatible with most cameras. It's also RF shielded I think.

I do like the sound of this mic. I bought it because it does not reject well at back. This sounds wrong i know. But if I am shooting and talking it sounds pretty good. Actually it sounds better overall than the 2 mic version. Plus it cost less. So there's that. Now. The dead cat. It should reject wind noise way better than it does, given its size and furriness. I can't help thinking the foam is just too stiff right against capsule. Still I'd buy it again and pleased with the variety of cords it comes with.

I've been using Deity for a while now with my Blackmagic Pocket Cinema so when I started using the Sony A7iv, I wanted something similar. I don't have a full rig, though, so I didn't want to use a huge mic. This fits perfectly and works great. No complaints.

Me gustó.

Sounds quality is amazing worth for the price

Lo compré por las reseñas aquí, no lo recomiendo es muy caro y no tiene cancelación de ruido, se escucha absolutamente todo, hasta como pasas saliva, mejor compren dji

Graba con hiss. No vale la pena.
