Not sure if this is a flaw specific to this model or not but, my particular tool does not cut all the wires cleanly. The cutter would cut nearly all the way through, and the excess cable twisted off easily (this happened on 2 wires). Not a show stopper, just an extra 3 second hassle for every connector I made. At the same time, the crimper was very good, I didn't have to reterminate any of the cables I made.
